A former Washoe County family court judge is facing a criminal charge following allegations of repeated harassment.
The Reno City Attorney’s Office has issued a summons for retired Judge Bridget Robb to appear in court on a misdemeanor stalking charge. Court records describe the allegation as malicious conduct intended to cause a reasonable person to feel terrorized.
Robb resigned from the bench in January after she received a Temporary Protective Order (TPO).
According to court documents, Robb stands accused of stalking the girlfriend of an attorney with whom she had a multi-year relationship while serving as a judge. Investigators allege the behavior occurred hundreds of times.
Simultaneously, the Second Judicial District Court has identified 25 cases in which disclosure between the judge and the attorney was not made. Officials have issued notices in those cases.
