Carson City, Nev. — A 19-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection with a felony battery warrant and two alleged misdemeanor offenses stemming from an incident at Carson High School last fall, according to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Collin James Favero on a warrant issued by the Carson City Justice Court on Dec. 30, 2025. He is charged with felony battery on a protected person, misdemeanor threat to cause death or bodily harm to a school student or employee, and misdemeanor assault.
The alleged offenses occurred on Sept. 3, 2025, at Carson High School. The incident followed an ongoing dispute that escalated into an altercation between Favero and another student. During the dispute, Favero allegedly made threats of bodily harm toward the victim.
Authorities allege Favero also forced his way into a classroom as the argument continued.
The case remains under investigation.
