RENO, Nev. (Dec. 16, 2025) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on U.S. 395 between Red Rock Road and White Lake Parkway. The crash occurred at about 12:30, on Dec. 16, 2025.
Northbound lanes of U.S. 395 are closed at Red Rock Road, and authorities say the closure will last three to four hours. Intermittent closures of southbound U.S. 395 at White Lake Parkway are also possible as the investigation continues.
Drivers should avoid the area and plan for significant delays.
One person has been confirmed dead, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. There are no additional details about the cause of the crash or the identity of the victim.
