RENO, Nev. (Dec. 15, 2025) — An investigation is underway after a body was discovered in the Truckee River near 2nd Street on Monday morning.
According to the Reno Police, officers responded to the area alongside Reno Fire personnel at approximately 11:30 a.m. near the Walmart along the river. Authorities have not released the identity or gender of the individual.
Police said the death is not considered suspicious at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
