Reno, Nev. — Authorities are investigating after a body was found in south Reno late Wednesday morning, according to the Nevada State Police.
NSP said troopers, along with Capitol Police officers, located the unidentified body near South Virginia Street and Huffaker Lane at approximately 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Officials did not say how long the body may have been at the location before being discovered, nor did they indicate whether foul play is suspected.
The cause and manner of death remain undetermined, and the identity of the deceased is not yet released.
