Reno, Nev., — An early morning crash on Interstate 80 eastbound near Wells Avenue slowed traffic through downtown Reno on Monday, backing up vehicles for miles during the busy commute.
The crash occurred just before 7:45 a.m., according to initial reports. Traffic congestion quickly built up on I-80 east, with delays stretching from the crash site near Wells Avenue through downtown and as far west as Center Street.
The Nevada Highway Patrol confirmed injuries. The cause of the crash also remains under investigation.
