The Nevada State Police is investigating a crash that killed two people Thursday morning at the intersection of State Route 208 and State Route 827 in Yerington. A third person suffered non-life-threatening injuries and went to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Emergency crews responded to the scene just after 8:15 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or any details about the vehicles involved. There is no immediate word on what caused the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The intersection was closed to all traffic for several hours while troopers processed the scene.
