Two Arrested in Las Vegas Drug Trafficking Case

Two men have been arrested following a federal investigation into drug trafficking and money laundering in Las Vegas, authorities said.

Francisco Felix and Alexis Arturo Martinez face federal charges, including conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine and money laundering. The indictment was unsealed on Friday after their initial court appearances on April 10.

Search warrants executed on April 9 led to the seizure of about 30,000 fentanyl pills, multiple kilograms of narcotics, a rifle, and more than $30,000 in cash.

Both men remain in custody, with a jury trial scheduled for June 15. If convicted, they face a potential life sentence with a 10-year mandatory minimum.
