Lyon County sheriff’s deputies conducted saturation patrols Friday along the Ramsey-Weeks Cutoff in Silver Springs.
The Traffic Enforcement Team made 43 traffic stops after reporting average speeds of 60 to 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputies issued 21 speeding citations, along with citations for a suspended license, registration violation, and disobeying a traffic control device.
Additional warnings were also issued.
