Mining to Resume at Jerritt Canyon

First Majestic Silver Corp. announced it will restart mining operations at its Jerritt Canyon mine north of Elko near California Mountain in 2027.

The company cited an expanded mineral resource base, successful drilling, and stronger long-term gold price assumptions as reasons for the restart. First Majestic plans to invest $75 million this year to support the project, with production expected to begin in the second half of 2027.
