Clark County is moving forward with a $10 million donation to support the construction of the Forever One Memorial at the former 1 October festival grounds in Las Vegas.
The funding will go to the Vegas Strong Fund, the nonprofit overseeing the project, and is restricted to Phase 1A construction costs. Payments will be distributed in stages, starting with $2.5 million once a building permit is secured and another $2.5 million after a construction contract is finalized.
Remaining funds will be released as construction progresses and work is completed.
