A Sparks traffic stop tied to a broader drug investigation led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man and the seizure of a large quantity of methamphetamine, according to the Northern Nevada Drug Task Force.
Detectives say Aldo Cruz-Delgado was taken into custody Friday during the stop, which was part of an ongoing investigation into meth distribution across Washoe County. During the arrest, authorities report they recovered approximately six pounds of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of more than $81,000.
Investigators booked Cruz-Delgado into the Washoe County Detention Facility on multiple felony charges, including trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, and selling or transporting a controlled substance.
