A Reno man has been arrested on multiple drug and weapons charges following an investigation by the Regional Narcotics Unit, according to the Reno Police Department.
Adolfo Gonzalez-Neri, 27, was taken into custody on March 18 after investigators acted on a tip received earlier this year. The investigation led officers to a residence on Ralston Street near the University of Nevada, Reno.
Detectives, assisted by the Washoe County Northern Nevada Drug Task Force and Washoe County Sheriff’s Office K9 units, executed a search of the residence Gonzalez-Neri was allegedly operating out of.
During the search, authorities reported seizing approximately 355 grams of cocaine, 81 grams of MDMA, and 612 grams of marijuana. Investigators also recovered $3,972 in cash and nine firearms.
Police estimate the street value of the cocaine alone at roughly $36,000.
Officers booked Gonzalez-Neri into the Washoe County Jail on multiple charges, including trafficking of a controlled substance (cocaine), two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and nine counts of felon in possession of a firearm.
