A 24-year-old man reported missing from Fallon has been found safe in Washington state, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities located Sage Hunter Greigo-Long on Saturday in Port Angeles, Chief Criminal Deputy Amy Bundy said in an email.
“Deputies located Sage Hunter Greigo-Long safe and sound in Port Angeles,” Bundy wrote. “His family has been notified and he is no longer considered a missing person. Thank you to the community for all of the tips that assisted with a positive outcome.”
Authorities say Greigo-Long’s white 2001 Dodge Durango sat abandoned off the roadway on Deer Park Loop near U.S. Highway 101, just east of the C’est Si Bon restaurant.
Deputies located the vehicle about an hour after Greigo-Long’s family reported him missing to the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said Greigo-Long left his residence about 36 hours before being reported missing. He was going to work at the time.
Authorities say it remains unclear why he traveled to the Pacific Northwest.
