Three people were arrested Wednesday following a months-long narcotics investigation that resulted in the seizure of large quantities of drugs, firearms, and cash, according to the Reno Police Department.
In June 2025, detectives with the Regional Narcotics Unit (RNU) began investigating a drug trafficking organization suspected of distributing large amounts of marijuana, THC products, and other illegal narcotics throughout Northern Nevada. Authorities say investigators conducted numerous controlled purchases and surveillance operations over several months, ultimately identifying multiple Reno-area residences connected to the organization.
On Jan. 28, RNU detectives, assisted by several local, state, and federal agencies, executed search warrants at three separate residences in Reno.
During the searches, detectives seized approximately $361,995 in U.S. currency and a wide range of illegal drugs, including 1,177 pounds of THC vape cartridges, 46 pounds of THC-infused edible products, 69.5 pounds of marijuana, and nearly 70 pounds of THC concentrate. Authorities also recovered 4.4 pounds of DMT, 2.5 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, more than 100 grams of MDMA, 151.87 grams of ketamine, 28.56 grams of cocaine, 50.65 grams of LSD, 7.36 grams of alprazolam, and six firearms.
As a result of the investigation, Andrew Oliva, 25, and Nicholas Logginos, 24, were arrested and booked into the Washoe County Jail. Both face multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, sale of a controlled substance, trafficking a controlled substance, and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.
A third suspect, Joel Constantino, 25, who is already in custody on unrelated charges, was additionally charged with conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.
