The Reno Police Department is continuing to investigate a deadly shooting that occurred last fall and is now asking for the public’s help as detectives work to move the case forward.
The homicide happened on Oct. 1, 2025, on Enterprise Road. Police say officers were dispatched to the area around 7:26 p.m. after receiving reports of a fight.
While officers were en route, dispatchers received additional calls indicating that witnesses had heard gunshots. When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers immediately began lifesaving measures until REMSA arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite those efforts, police say the man later died from his injuries.
Detectives with the Reno Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Unit took over the investigation. Detectives have identified a possible suspect.
Investigators are now asking anyone with information to come forward. Detectives are particularly interested in hearing from people who may have witnessed suspicious activity, heard something unusual, or have cell phone video, surveillance footage, or dash camera recordings from the area around the time of the shooting.
