A Washoe County judge has been temporarily removed from all cases following the issuance of a temporary protective order (TPO) in an alleged stalking matter, according to court officials and sources familiar with the situation.
District Judge Bridget Robb received the TPO on Jan. 16. A hearing is scheduled for Feb. 13 to determine whether the order will be extended or dismissed.
After the TPO was approved, Chief District Judge Egan Walker temporarily removed Robb from all active cases and committee assignments.
Second Judicial District Court spokesperson Alicia Lerud confirmed the court is also conducting an internal investigation related to the matter. She declined to provide further details, citing the ongoing review and judicial confidentiality rules.
The filing alleges multiple Ring camera videos are part of the request for the protective order. However, the court documents do not detail the specific allegations underlying the request.
Currently, no criminal charges are pending. TPOs are civil in nature and provide short-term protection while the court considers additional evidence.
Judge Robb remains on administrative leave pending the outcome of the February hearing and the court’s internal review.
