State Joins Cyber Task Force

The State of Nevada has officially joined the FBI-led Las Vegas Cyber Task Force, a multi-agency effort aimed at tackling cyber-enabled crimes, including online fraud, cryptocurrency scams, and digital intrusions.

The Nevada Attorney General’s Office has assigned a full-time investigator to the task force, allowing cybercrime complaints to be directly referred and coordinated with partner agencies.

The initiative would improve coordination, share intelligence, and bolster enforcement efforts across state and federal agencies to address the growing threat of technologically driven crimes.
