SPARKS, Nev. — A late-night traffic stop escalated into a crash early Saturday after a driver failed to pull over for police, according to the Sparks Police Department.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for reckless driving just after midnight on Jan. 3. Police say the driver did not comply and continued driving, with the incident ending in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Sparks Boulevard and Baring Boulevard.
REMSA transported the man to a nearby hospital. Authorities have not released information about the driver’s condition or the circumstances leading up to the crash, citing an ongoing investigation.
