LVMPD Officer Arrested on Stalking Charges

A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer has been arrested on multiple stalking charges, the department announced Monday.

Officer Jason De La Garrigue, 47, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on April 11 on eight counts of aggravated stalking. A judge set bail at $1 million during a probable cause hearing.

De La Garrigue, who has been with LVMPD since 2000 and assigned to the airport bureau, has been suspended without pay pending the investigation.

He was scheduled to make an initial court appearance on April 14 and remained in custody as of Monday.
