The Bureau of Land Management has approved the Wildcat Exploration Project in the Seven Troughs Range of Pershing County.
Millennial NV, LLC plans to assess gold mining potential across more than 12,000 acres of public and private land, with about 365 acres of public land to be disturbed. The project includes drilling pads, access road improvements, water production wells, geochemical and geotechnical testing, and laydown yards.
The BLM is seeking public comment on the preliminary Environmental Assessment, with the comment period open through July 2.
