A Washoe County man is in jail following a multi-agency investigation into child exploitation, led by the Nevada State Police.
Authorities say the Nevada State Police Investigation Division, along with the Parole and Probation Division and Capitol Police, executed search warrants at locations in Fernley, Sparks, and Reno as part of the operation.
On March 12, Kyle Marcelino Landa was taken into custody and booked into the Washoe County Jail for a probation violation.
Officials later charged Landa with one felony count of using the internet to control a visual presentation depicting the sexual conduct of a person under 16 years of age.
