Mid-grade gas now averages $5.13 per gallon, while premium has reached $5.41, meanwhile, diesel prices have climbed even higher, averaging $5.68 per gallon statewide. For comparison, the national average for regular gasoline currently sits at $3.98 per gallon.
Some reports indicate prices have jumped by roughly 20 cents over the past week.
