A suspect was taken into custody Tuesday morning following a hit-and-run crash that damaged three parked vehicles along Silvertip Drive, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responding to the scene located the damaged cars and began following a trail of debris believed to have been left by the suspect vehicle. The trail led investigators to a nearby residence, where they also discovered drops of blood.
At the home, deputies made contact with 27-year-old Remy Arthur Quenneville. Authorities say a gray Subaru, with significant damage consistent with the crash, was found at the residence.
According to the sheriff’s office, Quenneville admitted to driving the vehicle involved in the crash.
He received treatment for minor injuries before being transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility. Quenneville faces multiple charges, including duty to stop at the scene of an accident involving damage, failure to report an accident involving unattended property, and duty upon damaging an unattended vehicle or other property.
