A fugitive wanted by authorities in Sacramento was arrested Wednesday in Carson City, according to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
Members of the sheriff’s SWAT team took 18-year-old Jayden Tibbitts into custody on South Carson Street.
Tibbitts was wanted out of Sacramento on multiple charges, including possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle, carrying a loaded firearm, possessing a loaded firearm with the intent to commit a felony, and evading law enforcement through reckless driving.
Authorities did not immediately release additional details about the arrest or whether Tibbitts will be extradited to California to face the charges.
