Suspected Gas Leak Shuts Down Roadway

A suspected gas leak late Sunday night prompted the closure of Pyramid Highway in both directions in Sparks.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of F Street and Pyramid Highway, just south of the Sinclair Gas Station, according to authorities. Sparks Fire Department crews responded to the scene along with NV Energy

Officials have not released details on the source or cause of the suspected gas leak.
