A longtime Washoe County judge remains accused of repeatedly stalking a local attorney over more than a year, according to court documents that led to a temporary protective order (TPO) and a scheduled court hearing next month.
The attorney alleges that Judge Bridget Robb engaged in a willful and repeated course of conduct beginning in May 2024 that caused fear and concern for personal safety. The filing describes dozens, and possibly hundreds, of alleged encounters at homes, workplaces, and other locations around Reno, despite requests for the behavior to stop.
The TPO was filed on Jan. 12 and granted on Jan. 16 by another judge. A hearing is set for Feb. 13 to determine if an extension is required.
Following the order, Chief District Judge Egan Walker removed Robb from all cases and committee assignments, and the court confirmed an internal investigation is underway.
Reno police opened an investigation in late 2025 and conducted surveillance near a fitness studio the attorney frequented. Detectives later conducted a traffic stop and interview with Robb on Jan. 7. The application alleges she admitted to the behavior, describing it as ‘information-gathering’ tied to a prior personal relationship.
Robb announced on Thursday that she will retire Feb. 6 and withdraw from her judicial candidacy. She has served on the bench since 2006.
