Reno, Nev. — Reno police and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a death reported early Thursday morning at an apartment complex in north Reno.
According to authorities, Washoe County deputies initially responded to a call regarding a death around 5:30 a.m. at the Wildwood Condominiums on Clear Acre Lane. Deputies located one person deceased at the scene. Reno Police officers later responded to the area around 7 a.m. as the investigation expanded.
Police say the case involves multiple scenes, though details are few about the locations or circumstances surrounding the death. Investigators emphasized that the investigation remains in its preliminary stages.
Both the Reno Police and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office are jointly investigating the case.
