Reno, Nev. — One of the defendants who pleaded guilty to vandalism at Reno High School last year is back in custody after allegedly violating the conditions of his release.
On Tuesday, Wylder May failed to comply with release conditions that required him to pass drug tests and attend mandatory meetings. He allegedly tested positive for cocaine.
May is one of seven former students accused of damaging Reno High School in May 2025 and faces three counts of property damage. He previously spent three days in jail in September for the same violation.
All seven former students agreed to plead guilty to avoid jail time. Each face sentencing Monday, Jan. 12, 2026.
