A Reno man will spend decades in prison for robbing two people he met at local casinos in November 2024.
Leshone Lee received a sentence totaling 30 years in prison with parole eligibility after 10 years, the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office announced. The sentence follows his conviction on two counts of robbery.
According to prosecutors, the first victim told police he met Lee at a casino, where they struck up a friendly conversation. The pair decided to get breakfast, and Lee offered to drive.
Instead, Lee led the victim down an alley, punched him in the face, knocked him to the ground, and stole $1,400 in cash before fleeing. Two weeks later, a second victim contacted the Reno Police Department with a similar story.
Video surveillance from a local casino showed Lee and the man chatting before leaving together. Prosecutors say Lee again attacked the victim, this time stealing $440 before running away.
