A 59-year-old man was killed Friday evening after being shot while sitting inside his vehicle in east Las Vegas, according to Metro police.
Officers responded around 6:29 p.m. to Missouri Avenue near Boulder Highway and found a vehicle that had crashed into a building. The driver was discovered inside with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said three male suspects approached the victim in his car, and after a brief interaction, at least one opened fire. The victim fled in his vehicle before crashing into a structure. The suspects then fled the area.
