Four-Legged Robot Patrols Las Vegas Strip

Companies are turning to artificial intelligence for enhanced security in crowded spaces, including the Las Vegas Valley, with the latest tool being a four-legged robotic drone dog. Thousands of these robots are now deployed across the country to assist in monitoring high-volume areas.

One such robot, named Dan, operates on the Las Vegas Strip. Unlike human security personnel, the robots don’t tire, need breaks, or get scared in dangerous situations. They can patrol autonomously or be remotely controlled by operators at a central security hub, providing real-time video and audio surveillance.

Asylon Robotics plans to roll out more robotic dogs every month. The company envisions AI and human collaboration growing in public safety, with future capabilities that could detect threats and alert authorities in real time.
