The Nevada Department of Wildlife is investigating after an employee with the Carson City School District allegedly destroyed a Canada Goose nest at Fritch Elementary School.
The goose had set up a home in the school’s field for around a year.
According to Carson Now, a district official allegedly chased the goose away with her dog, then destroyed the nest and stomped on the eggs.
NDOW did not provide further details on the investigation or the allegations against the employee.
