A Henderson man is facing federal charges accusing him of importing and selling misbranded erectile dysfunction and prescription drugs, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
David Ralph Webber faces a 17-count indictment tied to products sold under brand names including Ride, Kinky Kong, Stif, TBone, and Kinky Pink.
Prosecutors allege Webber owned and operated Passion Plus Enterprises Inc. and Whole Science Health, and was not registered as a pharmaceutical manufacturer or licensed to distribute prescription drugs.
According to the indictment, Webber imported hundreds of thousands of capsules and tablets containing active ingredients found in prescription medications such as Viagra and Cialis. The drugs were allegedly manufactured in India at facilities not registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Federal officials also allege Webber attempted to avoid detection by mislabeling financial transactions as payments for “business management consultancy services” and by directing a packaging company to list false ingredients, including claims the products were “100% natural” and did not require a prescription.
The DOJ says they were to smoke shops, convenience stores, and adult novelty stores across Nevada and the southwestern United States, as well as through a website operated by Webber. Authorities allege the operation generated more than $1.9 million in revenue.
If convicted, Webber could face up to 20 years in prison.
