An Elko man is in jail following an investigation into suspected child pornography, according to the Elko Police Department.
Gregory Regan was taken into custody on Wednesday after officers served a search warrant at a residence on Oak Street. Police said the search came after authorities received a tip through the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) program, which investigates the online exploitation of minors.
Following the search, investigators arrested Regan on suspicion of possession of material depicting sexual conduct of a person under the age of 16.
Officials have not released whether they seized any electronic devices during the search.
