Surge Battery Metals continues to report promising results from its 2025 core drilling program at the Nevada North Lithium Project (NNLP), with recent assays confirming high-grade lithium continuity and potential for expanding the project’s resource boundaries.
The company highlighted success from its step-out drilling program, including hole NNL-037, located 640 meters southeast of the current resource boundary, which intercepted 31 meters averaging 4,196 ppm lithium from surface.
Infill drilling has further proven the high-grade nature of the deposit. Hole NNL-030 returned 116 meters, averaging 3,752 ppm lithium, including a 32.1-meter zone grading 4,521 ppm lithium.
Data from these geotechnical and hydrogeological core programs will support a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS). Fluor Corporation will lead the study, which Surge Battery Metals will deliver in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Previous assessments describe the Nevada North Lithium Project as a large, low-cost domestic lithium resource for the electric vehicle industry, with the potential to produce 86,300 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) annually over a projected 42-year mine life.
