A Carson City man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on felony charges involving alleged crimes against a child, according to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said Robert Michael Duggan was taken into custody on Otha Street after deputies served an arrest warrant issued the previous day. Duggan faces two felony charges, including sexual assault against a child under the age of 14 and lewdness with a child under 14 by a person over 18, officials said.
Because the arrest was made pursuant to a warrant, the sheriff’s office did not release additional details about the underlying investigation.
Deputies took Duggan into custody without incident and transported him to the Carson City Jail.
