A motorcyclist was killed Thursday evening in a crash involving a pickup truck on South Virginia Street, according to the Nevada State Police.
The collision occurred just before 5:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of South Virginia Street, just north of Damonte Ranch Parkway.
Authorities said the male rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
