A collision between two guests at Northstar California Resort on February 15 left one man dead, according to resort officials.
The incident occurred on the advanced Polaris trail. Northstar said 53-year-old Stuart McLaughlin of Hillsborough, California, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second skier involved in the collision was transported to Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee for treatment.
Resort officials did not provide additional details about the circumstances of the crash.
