At least one person suffered minor injuries after a series of crashes involving multiple semi-trucks early Wednesday morning on Interstate 80 west near Patrick, according to the Nevada State Police.
The incidents occurred around 12:30 a.m. and again at approximately 2:30 a.m. Authorities reported that three semi-trucks received damage in the crashes.
I-80 was temporarily closed while emergency crews responded and cleared the wreckage. The crashes remain under investigation, and snow and ice may have been a factor.
