Man Sought in Attempted Impersonation in Carson City

Authorities are searching for a man accused of attempting to impersonate another person in an effort to withdraw money from a local credit union.

According to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified suspect entered the Greater Nevada Credit Union branch in Carson City on July 23, 2025, and attempted to withdraw a sum of money while posing as someone else.

Investigators say the attempt was unsuccessful. The suspect left the bank before deputies arrived and remains unidentified.

The man was last seen wearing a maroon polo shirt, tan pants, and white shoes, according to the sheriff’s office.
