Nevada DMV Ordered to Submit ICE Communications

A Carson City judge has directed the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to turn over all communications with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for a private review.

The order follows a lawsuit by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) alleging the DMV failed to release public records related to its interactions with ICE. Under the ruling, the DMV has five days to submit a sworn declaration confirming that it has searched all records related to the matter.
