Reno police are investigating a reported road rage incident that led to shots being fired near downtown Reno Monday morning.
Officers with the Reno Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 10 a.m. on Feb. 9 near Interstate 80 and Wells Avenue. Authorities later confirmed the incident began on I-80 near Wells Avenue and continued into the area of Third and Vine streets.
Police said the shooting stemmed from a possible road rage situation. There were no injuries reported.
As of Monday morning, police had not released any information about a possible suspect or suspects. Officers were also unable to say how many shots there were or whether any vehicles were damaged.
No arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation.
