Senator Calls for Investigation Into Homan

U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen is urging the Deputy Inspector General to investigate White House Director Thomas Homan over allegations that he accepted a $50,000 cash payment from undercover FBI agents.

The agents, Rosen says, posed as individuals seeking assistance in securing government contracts.

In a letter sent Tuesday, Rosen expressed concern over Homan’s continued leadership in immigration enforcement while the circumstances surrounding the payment remain unclear. The junior senator criticized the Department of Justice for dismissing the case with little explanation, arguing that it raises concerns about Homan’s ability to maintain public confidence while overseeing immigration policies.

Homan has not publicly responded to Rosen’s allegations, and the Department of Justice has not replied to the senator’s call for an investigation.
