Nevada drivers are paying more at the pump this week, even as national gasoline prices remain relatively flat, according to new data from GasBuddy and AAA.
GasBuddy reports the current national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $2.83. In Nevada, however, the average has increased by 8.9 cents over the past week, bringing the statewide average to $3.39 per gallon.
AAA data shows a similar trend, with slight variations in the numbers. According to AAA, the national average stands at $2.88 per gallon, while Nevada’s average price is higher at $3.44 per gallon.
The figures highlight a continued gap between Nevada fuel prices and the national average. Analysts attribute higher prices in the state to factors such as fuel supply logistics, refinery maintenance in the West, and regional demand fluctuations.
