The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man found dead in a men’s restroom at Baldini’s Sports Casino and Restaurant in Sparks earlier this month.
Officials said the man was 35-year-old Lucas Avery, who was pronounced dead at the scene on Jan. 12. Authorities believe Avery was experiencing homelessness at the time of his death.
The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined and remain under investigation, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The Sparks Police Department is handling the law enforcement portion of the case.
