Traffic Enforcement Nets 118 Citations

A multi-agency traffic enforcement operation conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 21, resulted in more than 100 citations as law enforcement targeted speeding and aggressive driving across major roadways in the Sparks area.

The Sparks Police Department, Nevada State Police, and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office participated in the operation, focusing on Pyramid Way, McCarran Boulevard, Sparks Boulevard, and Vista Boulevard. Officers stopped 123 vehicles during the coordinated effort.

According to authorities, 118 drivers received citations for various traffic violations, with one person arrested on a warrant. Most of the stops were related to speeding and other moving violations.
