Elko, Nev. — American Tungsten & Antimony (ATA) has begun its first diamond drilling program at the Tennessee Mountain project, targeting the historic Garnet Mine in the Alder Mining District.
The goal is to confirm high-grade tungsten deposits, including historic intercepts at 18.38 meters and a concentration of 0.72 percent Tungsten Trioxide (0.72% WO₃), while producing a maiden Mineral Resource statement by early 2026.
Tungsten, a U.S. critical mineral, could strengthen national supply chains and diversify Elko’s mining economy beyond gold, signaling the region’s growth into a multi-commodity hub.
