RENO, Nev. (Dec. 12, 2025) — Two suspects were arrested Thursday morning following two separate high-speed pursuits with Nevada Highway Patrol troopers.
The incidents began just after 8:20 a.m. when troopers attempted a traffic stop on a white pickup truck near I-580 and South Meadows Parkway. The vehicle reportedly fled the scene, according to a release from the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP).
Around 10:30 a.m., the vehicle, this time near Eastlake Boulevard and U.S. 395 Alternate, attempted to evade authorities again, prompting troopers to deploy spike strips, which flattened the vehicle’s tires. Despite the damage, the driver continued for about a mile before leaving the road and stopping at the intersection of U.S. 395 Alternate and Tinhorn Road.
Investigators have not confirmed whether additional suspects are involved. The investigation is ongoing.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the case to contact the Nevada State Police Investigations Division at 775-684-7430.
