Sheriff’s Office Seeks Suspect

CARSON CITY, Nev. (Dec. 26, 2025) — The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a fraud investigation.

According to deputies, the incident occurred on Dec. 9, when a person stole a purse on South Carson Street near Curry Street. Investigators say the theft is part of a broader fraud case.

Authorities have obtained surveillance photos and video of the suspected individual. The suspect was wearing a brown long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and white shoes.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Carson City Dispatch’s non-emergency line at 775-887-2008 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900. There is a $250 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
